Motorola Solutions is introducing Inform at GSX 2025 in New Orleans, marking a major step in unifying Avigilon’s video and access control solutions. Designed to tackle data overload and fragmented systems, Inform consolidates information from Avigilon and third-party security technologies into a single interface. By intelligently correlating separate events, it enables security teams to identify complex threats, streamline workflows, and act with greater speed and accuracy.
For example, multiple failed badge swipes can trigger Inform to activate nearby cameras, identify a person of interest, notify security via radios, and share real-time updates with public safety agencies. This unified approach moves security operations from reactive monitoring to proactive, AI-driven incident management.
Complementing Inform is the launch of Avigilon Visual Alerts, a generative AI-powered tool that allows custom creation of visual event alerts, such as monitoring “wandering patients near an exit.” This enhances situational awareness in environments like hospitals, supporting both clinical and security staff in timely responses.
Motorola Solutions emphasizes responsible AI use, supported by its industry-first AI labeling initiative. Inform, Visual Alerts, and other AI-assisted technologies will be showcased at GSX 2025, reinforcing the company’s mission to build safer, more resilient enterprises and communities.
