Motorola Solutions is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join its India Channel Sales team. The role focuses on growing the business by combining technical expertise with customer understanding and partner collaboration.

Role Overview

The Sales Engineer will support Motorola Solutions’ core sales and business teams by identifying opportunities, understanding customer needs, and recommending the right solutions. The person will represent Motorola Solutions in customer meetings, train partners, and ensure smooth implementation of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with customers and partners to identify needs and suggest suitable Motorola Solutions products
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations to explain product features and benefits
  • Train partners regularly to help them handle advanced solutions and grow their technical capability
  • Support the business team in expanding market presence and achieving growth goals
  • Coordinate technical support for partner-led projects to ensure successful execution
  • Work with regulatory agencies to secure product approvals and compliance
  • Communicate Motorola Solutions’ strategy and full product portfolio to customers and partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales engineering or solution architecture, preferably in the telecom industry
  • Good understanding of telecommunications and IP networking technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Attention to detail with a focus on smooth execution
  • Innovative mindset with the confidence to bring new ideas
