Nikon held a special children’s workshop at its global headquarters to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its microscope business. The event, themed Explore the Microscopic World! invited local elementary school students to experience the wonders of science through hands-on activities.

Students used Nikon’s Field microscope Mini and ECLIPSE Ei microscopes to observe samples and discover details not visible to the naked eye. The program was designed to encourage curiosity, create an interest in science and provide opportunities for young learners to explore new fields.

This initiative is part of Nikon’s broader efforts to engage with communities and support the development of the next generation. By combining innovation with educational outreach, the company seeks to grow together with society while continuing its long tradition in optical technology.

The workshop also highlighted how Nikon’s century-long journey in microscope development is not only about advancing technology but also about inspiring future scientists and innovators.
