Nokia and Nscale have announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the development of AI-ready infrastructure worldwide. Under the agreement, Nokia will become a preferred partner for advanced networking technologies across Nscale’s global AI data center deployments. The collaboration coincides with Nokia joining Nscale’s Series B funding round, aimed at supporting the rapid growth of scalable, secure, and globally competitive AI infrastructure amid surging demand.
Headquartered in the UK with international operations, Nscale provides a vertically integrated platform for compute, networking, storage, managed software, and AI services, delivered through both Nscale-owned and co-located data centers. By integrating Nokia’s expertise in IP routing, optical networking, and data center switching, the partnership will enable faster, more efficient, and energy-conscious scaling of AI clusters. Customers will benefit from improved cloud capacity, high-performance connectivity, and reduced operational costs within and across data centers.
Beyond deployments, Nokia and Nscale will collaborate on innovation in the networking stack for AI workloads, ensuring that infrastructure remains agile, secure, and future-ready. Nokia CEO Justin Hotard highlighted the importance of secure, scalable AI infrastructure for global growth, while Nscale CEO Josh Payne emphasized the role of strong partnerships in unlocking AI’s full potential worldwide.
