Robin Liu has resigned as CEO of OnePlus India and is expected to leave the role by the end of March. The company said he is stepping down to focus on personal plans.
He has been leading the India business since 2018 and played a key role in expanding the brand’s presence in the country.
His exit comes at a time when the parent group Oppo is making internal changes to its structure.
The move comes shortly after Liu addressed speculation about a possible shutdown of operations, which he had denied. His departure has again raised questions about the company’s direction in global markets.
OnePlus has said that its India operations will continue as usual and there are no immediate changes planned.
