OPPO unveiled major breakthroughs in on-device AI at the Snapdragon Summit 2025-China, in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies. Showcasing its advancements on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, OPPO achieved over 200 tokens per second, marking the fastest on-device AI inference performance in the industry. This 8x improvement in decoding speed enables near real-time translation and content generation directly on devices, offering cloud-level performance with enhanced privacy.

OPPO also introduced support for 128K context length, allowing analysis of up to 300-page documents entirely on-device. This innovation empowers professionals in fields like law and healthcare to work offline securely, with OPPO’s long-context acceleration technology ensuring efficiency and data protection.

These developments are part of OPPO’s hybrid AI strategy, combining device-based processing with cloud capabilities for continuous performance and security improvements. By working closely with Qualcomm and leveraging its Private Computing Cloud (PCC), OPPO aims to provide personalized, secure, and intelligent AI experiences to nearly 100 million users by the end of 2025.
