Panasonic Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. has received the Bronze Medal in the sustainability assessment conducted by EcoVadis. The recognition places the company among the top 35% of organizations evaluated globally.
EcoVadis assesses sustainability performance across Environment Labor and Human Rights Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. The evaluation covers more than 150,000 companies in 185 countries and is based on a set of indicators aligned with international standards. Panasonic Automotive Systems’ overall policies initiatives and management practices were reviewed as part of this process.
In this assessment the company received strong recognition for its work in Sustainable Procurement. This included efforts to promote responsible sourcing across the supply chain conflict mineral management and due diligence using the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template. Its structured approach to managing environmental and social risks across suppliers was also noted.
The assessment further acknowledged execution across Environment Labor and Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement. These areas reflect the company’s broader focus on ESG priorities within the automotive sector including human rights workplace conditions ethical sourcing community engagement and supply chain safety.
Panasonic Automotive Systems stated it will continue strengthening sustainability initiatives to support its goal of contributing to a sustainable mobility society and improving long term competitiveness.
