Panasonic Industry has announced the commercialization of two new Conductive Polymer Tantalum Solid Capacitors (POSCAP) 50TQT33M and 63TQT22M featuring the industry’s lowest profile of 3 mm. These capacitors support USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) 3.1, enabling high-output power delivery up to 240 W while contributing to the miniaturization of laptops, tablets and communication equipment.
The new models achieve both ultra-high withstand voltage and high capacitance, expanding Panasonic’s POSCAP lineup to 50 V and 63 V-rated models for the first time. With this breakthrough, the capacitors help stabilize voltage, reduce noise and enable thinner, lighter and more eco-friendly devices.
Commercial mass production is scheduled to begin in December 2025.
