Philips has installed Indonesia’s first Azurion image-guided therapy system at Kediri Regency General Hospital in East Java, marking a major milestone in its collaboration with the Ministry of Health to expand access to advanced, minimally invasive care across the nation. The installation represents a key step in Indonesia’s healthcare transformation, aimed at ensuring equitable access to life-saving treatment in both urban and regional areas.
The Philips Azurion platform enables clinicians to perform complex interventional procedures with real-time imaging, enhancing precision, reducing recovery times, and shortening hospital stays. The technology supports a wide range of cardiovascular, neurological, and other minimally invasive treatments—helping improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Astri Ramayanti Dharmawan, President Director of Philips Indonesia, emphasized that the partnership demonstrates a shared commitment to bringing advanced healthcare closer to where people live, ensuring timely and effective treatment “when minutes matter most.”
