Philips has launched Image Management 15, the latest version of its Vue PACS platform, featuring a new web-based diagnostic viewer designed to give radiologists secure access to imaging studies through any standard browser. The solution delivers a full diagnostic experience without local installation, using server-side rendering, workflow automation, and advanced clinical tools to support efficient remote and on-site interpretation.
Early users report faster loading, smooth performance with large datasets, and an intuitive interface that keeps focus on image review. The system optimizes processing between server and client, enabling consistent quality across modalities including breast tomosynthesis and cardiac CT. Integrated AI tools consolidate patient information, while the interactive reporting module allows radiologists to read images and complete reports within the same workflow, removing the need for separate reporting systems.
Image Management 15 also supports advanced visualization, aligning images across time points and modalities for clearer comparison. Built for cloud deployment through Philips HealthSuite on AWS—with an on-premises option—it aims to simplify IT management, enable scalability, and provide flexible access across multiple sites. Offered as a SaaS solution, the viewer is currently available in the U.S., with broader expansion expected in 2026.
