Philips Recognised as Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovator for 2026

Royal Philips has been named a Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovator for 2026 marking the 13th consecutive year of inclusion. Philips is the highest ranked medical technology company on this year’s list.

The Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators ranking by Clarivate evaluates patented inventions using global data to assess their strength and long term impact. The 2026 list highlights organizations that continue to deliver meaningful innovation across industries.

Philips’ recognition reflects its sustained investment in research and development with over EUR 1.7 billion invested annually which is around 9 percent of sales. The company focuses on innovations that support healthcare professionals and consumers across diagnosis, treatment and personal care.

Recent innovations include AI enabled imaging systems, helium free MRI technology, point of care ultrasound solutions, web based diagnostic viewers and AI powered personal care products. These technologies aim to improve clinical workflows, support accurate diagnosis and help people manage their health and well being more effectively.
