At the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2025 in Madrid, Philips introduced its latest AI-driven technologies aimed at improving diagnosis, treatment and long-term monitoring in cardiology. The company emphasized how AI-enabled systems can reduce data inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and give clinicians more time with patients.
Highlights included new ultrasound platforms such as EPIQ CVx, Affiniti CVx and Compact 5500 CV, designed for sharper imaging and greater diagnostic confidence. Philips also presented its Cardiovascular Workspace platform for data integration, AI-enhanced CT systems and BlueSeal Mobile the first helium-free MRI system demonstrated live at the event.
In treatment, Philips showcased the VeriSight Pro 3D ICE Catheter for real-time intracardiac imaging and the Azurion 7 Series, which supports more efficient image-guided interventions. For long-term monitoring, its advanced Holter software provides scalable tools for managing arrhythmia and other conditions.
Philips also hosted symposiums and tutorials highlighting how AI and miniaturized imaging are transforming heart failure care. Experts noted AI’s role in boosting accuracy, reducing administrative burden, and enhancing patient outcomes. The initiatives align with ESC’s global health theme and Philips’ commitment to expanding access to quality care worldwide.
