realme has announced a long-term strategic partnership with RICOH IMAGING COMPANY LTD., marking a new era in smartphone photography. The collaboration debuts with the realme GT 8 Pro, the first smartphone to feature RICOH GR-powered camera technology, blending realme’s innovation with RICOH’s legendary photographic heritage.

The partnership delivers co-engineered advancements across optics, imaging tone, user interface, and personalization. The GT 8 Pro introduces a “Snap by No Rules” concept, emphasizing creative freedom and authenticity. Its custom ultra-high-transparency lens group, built to RICOH GR optical standards, provides exceptional anti-glare performance, sharpness, and low distortion for professional-grade clarity.

The exclusive RICOH GR Mode replicates the GR camera’s fast startup, tactile shutter sound, and signature focal lengths of 28mm and 40mm, ideal for street photography. Users can also explore five GR Classic Tones and customize image parameters to craft their unique style.
