Sahil Chopra appointed as VP – Consumer Marketing at JioHotstar

Sahil Chopra has stepped into the role of Vice President Consumer Marketing at JioHotstar. He has more than 14 years of experience in digital marketing, brand strategy, sports marketing and subscriber growth. He has worked on large campaigns and helped shape consumer communication for major media brands. His earlier roles at JioHotstar and Viacom18 included leading brand and sports marketing for events like TATA IPL, BCCI series, the Olympics and WPL. This has given him deep knowledge of building content driven brands and improving engagement across platforms.

He has also handled title marketing and acquisition for JioCinema Premium and led digital and brand marketing for VOOT. Before that he built his base at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd., Mumbai Mirror and Bombay Times.
