At Maker Faire Brno 2025, Samsung Electronics Czech Republic partnered with the audiovisual art group Pulsovat Kolektiv to present “Digital Cave,” an interactive installation combining physical space, artificial intelligence, and digital creativity. The exhibit invited visitors to engage directly with generative AI through a setup featuring six Samsung The Frame televisions, a real-time camera, a control computer running TouchDesigner AI, and three customized controllers.
Participants could influence the artwork in multiple ways entering text prompts, adjusting camera perspectives, and modifying artistic parameters such as realism and AI-based distortion. These interactions generated evolving visual compositions that reinterpreted participants’ images in real time, highlighting the collaborative nature of human AI creativity.
The use of The Frame TVs helped recreate a gallery-like experience, with matte displays enabling accurate visuals under bright lighting conditions. Beyond its technical aspects, Digital Cave offered a reflection on how AI can support new forms of artistic expression and audience participation. The project also connected to Samsung’s broader exploration of digital art through The Frame and its Art Store platform, which provides access to curated collections from global museums and galleries.
