Samsung Electronics reported consolidated revenue of KRW 86.1 trillion and an operating profit of KRW 12.2 trillion for the third quarter of 2025, marking growth from the previous quarter. The Device Solutions (DS) Division saw a 19% rise in sales led by record-high memory business revenue driven by strong demand for HBM3E and server SSDs. The Device eXperience (DX) Division grew 11% due to new foldable phones and steady flagship sales.
The Memory Business reached record earnings through high-value products and expects continued growth from AI-driven demand. System LSI faced seasonal softness but plans to expand its premium SoC lineup. The Foundry Business improved utilization and will ramp up 2nm GAA chip production.
Samsung Display posted higher profits from smartphone and monitor demand and plans to expand QD-OLED sales. The MX Business grew on Galaxy Z Fold7 success and will promote AI smartphones like Galaxy S25 in Q4. Despite premium TV sales growth, the Visual Display Business posted a small loss but expects recovery in Q4 through seasonal demand.
