In celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child , Samsung Electronics highlights its global commitment to empowering girls in STEM through two key initiatives Samsung Solve for Tomorrow and Samsung Innovation Campus . These programs aim to inspire young women to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while equipping them with practical skills, confidence, and mentorship.
In India, Vaishnavi Kambar transitioned from having no coding background to winning a national hackathon, crediting the SIC program for nurturing her confidence and problem-solving abilities. In Armenia, Hasmik Kettsyan transformed from a learner into a leader, creating a local tech summer camp and writing a book to inspire other young women. Meanwhile, in China, Ziyun Xu’s participation in Solve for Tomorrow led her to pursue environmental research at Yale, combining scientific innovation with social impact.
Through these global programs, Samsung reaffirms its mission of creating equal opportunities, promoting inclusion, and nurturing the next generation of female innovators who will shape a smarter, more diverse, and sustainable world.
