Samsung R&D Institute India–Bangalore hosted its inaugural deep-tech conference, ennovateX 2025, on September 18 in Bengaluru, bringing together over 250 participants, including academia, industry leaders, start-ups, and open-source communities. Under the theme “Agentic AI and Modern AI,” the event highlighted Samsung’s AI for All vision making AI accessible, useful, and transformative across every domain of life.
Mohan Rao Goli, CVP and MD, SRI-B, emphasized AI as the new user interface, demonstrating innovations across Wireless Communications, Computer Vision, System Software, and IoT. Corporate and SRI-B leaders showcased AI-driven solutions enhancing personalization, connectivity, and everyday experiences. Keynotes and panels explored agentic AI’s role in productivity, enterprise efficiency, network management, and future AI advancements, with insights from experts from IBM Research India, IISc, and Google DeepMind.
The event also celebrated innovation through the AI Challenge 2025 and the Start-up Pitch. COD3INE won for its on-device multi-agent system for mobile security, while Kompact AI was recognized for pioneering LLMs on CPUs. Runners-up teams included Team Detroit, Syntax Squad, and Quanfluence, advancing AI-device innovation and photonic quantum computing.
With tutorials, interactive sessions, and networking, Samsung ennovateX 2025 fostered collaboration and creativity, setting the stage for AI that simplifies life, expands human potential, and delivers meaningful impact globally. The conference underlined SRI-B’s commitment to driving AI innovation through shared purpose and community engagement.
