Samsung India has expanded its Samsung Care+ program to include extended warranty plans for a range of home appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, microwave ovens, and smart TVs. The plans, available for one to four years, start at approximately INR 2 per day and are designed to offer customers added convenience and protection.
The enhanced Samsung Care+ introduces industry-first coverage for software updates and screen malfunctions (excluding physical damage), extending protection beyond hardware issues to ensure long-term reliability and performance. With this expansion, Samsung aims to provide customers with a more comprehensive service experience, covering both technical and operational aspects of appliance ownership.
Samsung Care+ is supported by a wide service network, including over 13,000 certified engineers, 2,500 service centers, and the use of genuine Samsung parts. The program also features multilingual customer support in nine languages and digital convenience through the Samsung app, which allows users to track service requests and receive maintenance reminders.
According to Ghufran Alam, Vice President of Digital Appliances at Samsung India, the initiative aligns with Samsung’s commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction through reliable service, accessibility, and sustainability-focused care solutions across its home appliance portfolio.
