Samsung has launched the Mumbai chapter of its Galaxy empowered program aimed at equipping teachers, principals and school administrators with digital tools and future-focused teaching methods. The initiative combines on-ground sessions, workshops and mentorship to build critical thinking, creativity and classroom innovation, in line with India’s National Education Policy.
Following its rollout in New Delhi, where over 2,700 teachers were certified, the program is now reaching 250 schools across Maharashtra and nearby states. More than 350 educators took part in the Mumbai launch event, which was attended by state and national education leaders along with UNESCO representatives.
The training is based on three important pillars: AI and technology upskilling, experiential learning with certification and peer networking through a nationwide community of educators. Teachers also receive free access to workshops, mentorship and exclusive offers on Samsung devices.
The program is designed to help teachers integrate AI and technology into classrooms, improve lesson design and enhance student engagement. By expanding to Mumbai, Samsung aims to empower thousands of educators with practical digital skills that support India’s broader education transformation goals.
