Samsung Electronics has launched the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, two new foldable smartphones that focus on portability, multitasking and AI features.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 opens like a book offering an 8-inch main screen for editing, watching videos or using multiple apps at once. When folded it works like a regular phone with a 6.5-inch cover screen. It’s lighter and thinner than before, with a stronger hinge and improved durability. The Fold7 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and includes AI tools like real-time translation, photo editing, and writing assistance.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 is smaller and flips open vertically. It features a 6.9-inch main screen and a 4.1-inch external display that lets users check messages, control music or take selfies without opening the phone. It includes a larger battery than previous models and supports Samsung DeX allowing it to work like a mini PC when connected to a larger screen. AI tools built into the cover screen assist with tasks like reminders, travel planning, and camera suggestions.
Both devices offer improved cameras, enhanced low-light performance and are equipped with Samsung’s security features. The Fold7 and Flip7 will be available from July 25 with pre-orders starting July 9.
