Samsung Electronics presented its latest health technologies at World Sleep 2025, with a focus on sleep improvement and overall wellness. The company showcased how its wearables integrate with Samsung Health to provide users with data-driven insights, personalized recommendations, and tools for better sleep management. Visitors at the event explored interactive features such as sleep pattern surveys and demonstrations of the Samsung Health SDK which enables secure consent-based health data usage.
Samsung also shared findings from its consumer research in Southeast Asia and Oceania, where adults average less than seven hours of sleep per night. The study highlighted challenges such as high stress levels and difficulty switching off, particularly among working adults aged 36 to 45 with women experiencing additional pressures balancing work and family.
A key highlight was the Galaxy Watch8 Series, which introduces features like Bedtime Guidance based on the Two-Process Model of Sleep Regulation, sleep apnea detection for early identification of risks, and Vascular Load monitoring for cardiovascular health insights. Additional capabilities include an Antioxidant Index, Running Coach and stress management tools. These advancements aim to help users adopt healthier routines and make informed decisions about their well-being.
