Samsung Electronics America has introduced its first microSD Express cards, the P9 Express series, aimed at gamers using the new Nintendo Switch 2. Available in 256GB and 512GB versions, these cards provide fast and dependable storage for games and downloads.
Built on PCIe and NVMe technology, the P9 Express reaches read speeds up to 800MB/s, about four times faster than standard UHS-I cards. This means quicker downloads and reduced load times. The cards also feature Host Memory Buffer support for smoother performance and Dynamic Thermal Guard to manage heat during long gaming sessions.
The P9 Express is designed to be durable, with protection against water, extreme temperatures, magnetic fields, and drops. Each card includes a three-year limited warranty and works with Samsung Magician software for checking performance and authenticity.
The cards are now available at Samsung.com and select stores, priced at $54.99 for 256GB and $99.99 for 512GB.
