Samsung R&D Institute India, Bangalore Takes Home 4 Awards at the Zinnov Confluence 2025

Samsung R&D Institute India, Bangalore received four awards at the Zinnov Confluence 2025 event. Three individuals were recognized for their work. Roopa Sheshadri was acknowledged for her leadership and mentorship. Dr. Raja Sekhara Reddy D. M. and Dr. Dr. Srinivas Soumitri Miriyala were named Technical Role Models.

At the organizational level, SRI-B was given the Great Place to Innovate award. This recognition was based on its focus on innovation, strong patent activity with over 11,000 filings and internal systems that support new ideas and solutions.

Zinnov Confluence 2025 focused on leadership in the age of AI and brought together professionals from across the world. SRI-B was highlighted for its role in developing technology solutions and contributing to the larger tech ecosystem.

SRI-B works on technologies like communication protocols, multimedia, AI, data intelligence, and IoT. It combines product development and user experience design to create solutions for both global and Indian markets. Over its 29-year journey, the center has played a key role in building several products, with many ideas developed locally for national and international use. It is also known for filing the highest number of patents in India.
