Samsung India has announced the top 40 semi-finalist teams for the fourth edition of its youth innovation contest, Solve for Tomorrow. These teams will now enter the next stage with mentorship, prototyping support and access to innovation platforms to refine their ideas for social impact. Each team will receive INR 8 lakh and every member will get a Samsung laptop.

Participants come from 15 states. This year’s contest invited ideas under four themes AI for a safer and inclusive Bharat, future of health and hygiene, social change through sports and education and environmental sustainability.

Shortlisted projects include AI tools for air quality monitoring, biodiversity conservation and clean water access, as well as solutions for waste management, gamified learning for underserved students and sports-led support for children with autism.

The semi-finalists will attend an Innovation Bootcamp at IIT Delhi, working with Samsung R&D, industry experts and alumni from past editions. From this group, 20 teams will advance to the finals and compete for grants, awards and incubation support.
