Samsung Electronics hosted the Silicon Valley Future Wireless Summit 2025 in Mountain View, California, centered on the theme “Unlocking New Possibilities with AI-Centric Networks.” The event gathered around 100 participants from telecom operators, manufacturers, government organizations and academic institutions. With 6G standardization discussions initiated by 3GPP earlier this year, the industry is now prioritizing technologies that integrate AI into next-generation communication systems. Samsung presented progress in AI-native communication technologies, including implementations validated in real-world environments.
Keynote sessions were followed by three main tracks: “New AI-Driven Services,” “AI Radio Innovation,” and “AI Network Innovation.” These sessions covered emerging AI-enabled wireless services, developments in AI-RAN, and the broader impact of AI across wireless, wired and server infrastructure. Discussions highlighted AI’s role in automation, resource optimization and predictive maintenance to enhance network performance and operational efficiency.
A technology demonstration showcased AI-RAN developed with Samsung’s partners, drawing attention to validation results where base station equipment autonomously adjusted parameters to maintain network quality.
