Samsung has equipped Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas with more than 6,000 hospitality TVs and Smart Signage displays. The installation covers guest cabins, crew living areas and shared onboard spaces such as lounges and theaters. This marks the latest step in a partnership that has lasted more than two decades, during which Samsung has supplied over 200,000 displays across Royal Caribbean’s fleet.

Star of the Seas, launched in August 2025, is the second ship in the cruise line’s Icon-class. Its guest cabins feature Samsung’s Crystal UHD Hospitality TVs, designed for commercial settings. These displays offer 4K resolution and support a wide color range for clear viewing. Each TV also serves as an information point for guests, showing personalized messages, schedules, destination details and important updates.

Public areas use Samsung’s QMC series Smart Signage, which provides high-resolution content in an ultra-slim form suitable for limited spaces.

Samsung has also introduced the 24-inch HF8000F hospitality TV for smaller rooms, aimed at spaces such as crew cabins, hotels and hospitals. The model supports features found in Samsung’s broader hospitality lineup, including remote management tools and casting options.
