Samsung India has announced record-breaking pre-orders for its newly launched Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE smartphones in India. Within 48 hours the brand received 2.1 lakh pre-orders, nearly matching the figures seen for the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year. This reflects rising consumer interest in foldable devices, especially among younger users.
These India-made smartphones come preloaded with Android 16 and One UI 8, supporting multimodal AI features powered by Gemini Live. The Galaxy Z Fold7 is Samsung’s thinnest and lightest fold yet, weighing 215 grams with an 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It introduces a new FlexHinge, stronger Ultra-Thin Glass and an upgraded camera system with a 200MP sensor.
Galaxy Z Flip7 offers a compact design with a 4.1-inch FlexWindow and 6.9-inch main display, enhanced with Vision Booster and improved durability. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite and delivers up to 31 hours of video playback. Galaxy Z Flip7 FE offers a 6.7-inch display with FlexCam features for hands-free content capture.
