At IBC 2025, the Sennheiser Group will highlight its full range of professional audio tools at stand 8D50. The display covers recording, monitoring and playback solutions, including new launches from Neumann. This year’s showcase also marks Sennheiser’s 80th anniversary and brings together the brand’s legacy and new technology, such as the wideband Spectera wireless system and EW-DX series.

One of the key reveals is the MKH 8018 stereo shotgun microphone, designed for broadcast and film use. It offers three stereo modes and is built to perform reliably in harsh environments. A -10dB pad and wide frequency response further support demanding production needs.

Visitors will also get to see SoundBase, a brand-neutral RF planning app that simplifies wireless audio setup by supporting gear from all major manufacturers. Live demos for both SoundBase and Spectera will run from Friday to Sunday.

Neumann will host immersive audio demos in a 7.1.4 setup featuring a new subwoofer, classic mics like the U 87 Ai, and the KU 100 binaural head. The Merging Technologies section will include the Pyramix 15 DAW, Hapi Mk III interface and AMBEO 2-Channel Spatial Audio a real-time rendering solution for immersive sound on standard stereo systems.
