About the Role
The Sr. Electronic Hardware Designer will lead product development in the Digital Grid domain, focusing on protection and secondary distribution products. The role covers the full product lifecycle from requirement analysis and design to validation and manufacturing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test products in the Digital Grid domain
- Design high-speed data acquisition systems using ADC/DAC, FPGA, and microcontrollers
- Handle analog and digital circuit design including op-amp and filter design
- Develop communication systems using CAN, SPI, Ethernet, and optical interfaces
- Conduct PCB design and analysis for signal and power integrity
- Ensure product compliance with EMI/EMC and environmental standards
- Select components for high-speed and low-power applications
- Create and execute test plans and validation procedures
- Support cross-functional teams in design, firmware, and manufacturing
Qualifications
- BE / ME in Electronics
- Minimum 15 years of experience in high-speed digital design
Skills
- Strong knowledge of high-speed analog and digital circuit design
- Hands-on experience with ADC/DAC, FPGA, and microcontrollers
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance and debugging
- Expertise in communication protocols like CAN, SPI, and Ethernet
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal analyzers
- Ability to design for reliability, safety, and low-power performance
