New Industrial Analytics Solution Enables Local AI Processing and Data Control
Siemens has introduced Drivetrain Analyzer Onsite, a new on-premises analytics solution designed for industrial drive systems.
The solution enables companies to process and analyze drivetrain data entirely within their own infrastructure, addressing data sovereignty, latency and security requirements. It complements the existing Drivetrain Analyzer Cloud and is part of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.
The first module, DTA Onsite – Monitoring, provides continuous condition monitoring of mechanical and electrical drivetrain components. Using locally executed AI, the system identifies anomalies, detects early signs of wear and supports predictive maintenance without relying on cloud connectivity.
The platform captures high-resolution vibration and operational data, which is processed and visualized through dashboards accessible via web browsers. It supports integration with industrial systems through open interfaces such as MQTT, OPC UA and gRPC.
Designed for environments such as manufacturing plants, infrastructure systems and motion-control applications, the solution helps improve reliability while maintaining full control over operational data.
