Sony India has launched the BRAVIA 5 TV range in India, available in different screen sizes. The TV is equipped with Sony’s latest visual and audio technologies aimed at improving the viewing experience at home.
The BRAVIA 5 uses an AI Processor XR, which combines machine learning and human-like cognitive processing to deliver clearer and more realistic images. Its XR Backlight Master Drive improves brightness and contrast, making visuals look deeper and more natural.
It supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, which improve picture contrast and sound quality. The TV also includes Studio Calibrated Modes for platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, and Sony Pictures Core, allowing viewers to watch content as the creators intended.
Sony Pictures Core gives access to a large movie library in near 4K quality, including IMAX Enhanced titles.
Additional technologies include:
XR Contrast Booster 10 for better black levels and brightness.
XR Triluminos Pro and XR Clear Image for more accurate colors and improved clarity.
XR Motion Clarity to make fast-moving scenes look smooth and detailed.
Acoustic Multi-Audio with enhanced speakers for more accurate sound placement.
Voice Zoom 3™, which uses AI to make speech clearer during shows and movies.
For gamers, BRAVIA 5 includes HDMI 2.1 support with features like 4K at 120Hz, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and specific enhancements for PlayStation 5. The Game Menu 2 makes it easier to adjust these settings.
