Sony has published its Corporate Report 2025, which consolidates financial and non-financial information to present the company’s performance, strategies and sustainability goals. The report reflects Sony’s long-term Creative Entertainment Vision focused on delivering KANDO emotion through creativity and technology.
The report opens with a message from President and CEO Hiroki Totoki, who outlines Sony’s recent transformation, emphasizing expansion of intellectual property (IP), innovative technologies and the role of diversity in driving growth. Examples include Solo Leveling, an anime project developed with Aniplex and Crunchyroll and The Last of Us, which has expanded from a PlayStation game to a TV series and exhibitions.
Four newly appointed Chief Officers provide strategic insights: focusing on synergy across businesses, use of data and AI strengthening organizational diversity and capital allocation. The sustainability section introduces Green Management 2030 setting medium-term goals towards Sony’s Road to Zero target of a zero environmental footprint by 2050.
