Sumil Mathur has been appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer at Sterlite Electric part of the Sterlite Group. In this role he will lead global financial strategy, capital management and corporate governance while supporting growth across the group’s businesses.
Before joining Sterlite Electric he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Emaar India where he led operational restructuring and financial stabilisation efforts. He brings nearly three decades of experience across real estate, telecom and manufacturing sectors.
His earlier roles include Vice President Finance at HCL Infosystems and General Manager Finance at Indus Towers where he managed large finance teams and ERP transformation programs. He also held positions at JCB, Bharti airtel and India Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd. His experience spans financial leadership, restructuring and large scale enterprise systems.
