The Adecco Group, in collaboration with Microsoft, has launched a free global AI learning initiative to equip jobseekers with essential AI skills and close the global digital divide. Aimed at making AI education inclusive and accessible, the program provides foundational AI training to all Adecco, LHH, and Akkodis candidates and associates worldwide. It begins in Switzerland, with a phased rollout to other countries.
The initiative combines Microsoft’s Elevate Skills platform with the Adecco Group’s global reach to help individuals especially those from underserved communities gain practical, future-ready AI capabilities. The modular learning design allows participants to learn at their own pace while embedding ethical AI literacy, ensuring responsible and informed use of AI technologies.
Denis Machuel, CEO of the Adecco Group, emphasized that democratizing AI skills is key to shaping a more inclusive workforce, while Microsoft’s Naria Santa Lucia highlighted the importance of universal access to AI learning. The program links new skills to real job opportunities through Adecco’s workforce ecosystem, reinforcing employability and career growth. With the Adecco Group engaging around 60 million candidates annually, this initiative reflects a shared commitment to social mobility, equal opportunity, and preparing individuals to thrive in the AI-driven future of work.
