Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation has announced the launch of four new dual-channel standard digital isolators, the “DCL52xx00 Series,” designed to support stable, high-speed isolated data transmission in industrial equipment. The new devices DCL520C00, DCL520D00, DCL521C00, and DCL521D00 offer configurations of either two forward channels or one forward and one reverse channel, expanding Toshiba’s lineup to 14 models within its digital isolator range.
These isolators feature a common mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 100kV/μs (typical) and a maximum data rate of 150Mbps, contributing to reliable performance in electrically noisy environments. Toshiba’s proprietary magnetic coupling transmission method enhances resistance to noise between input and output, ensuring stable signal transmission and equipment operation.
Toshiba has begun mass production of these standard digital isolators, which are intended for use in both industrial and automotive systems. The company plans to continue expanding its lineup to include additional packages and channel configurations, supporting the evolving needs of equipment requiring reliable and real-time data isolation.
