Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation has introduced the TCKE6 series, a set of 40V electronic fuses designed for power line circuit protection. The series includes five models: TCKE601RA, TCKE601RL, TCKE602RM, TCKE603RA, and TCKE603RL. These devices combine the basic short-circuit protection of physical fuses with additional functions such as current limiting and overvoltage protection, helping prevent excessive current or voltage from reaching downstream components. They also include thermal protection that shuts down operation when abnormal temperature conditions or unexpected short circuits occur.

The eFuse ICs integrate multiple protection functions in one component, which can support simpler circuit designs by reducing the number of discrete parts. The devices are rated at 40V and operate within an input range of 4.4V to 30V, making them applicable to systems such as 5V, 9V, 12V, and 24V power lines. Their 52mΩ typical on-resistance helps reduce power dissipation during regular operation. Housed in a compact TSOP6F package, the components are suited for industrial and consumer equipment where board space is limited.

Models in the series offer variations in control and monitoring features, including FLAG and enable (EN) functions, and provide options for auto-retry or latched recovery modes, allowing flexibility in system design.
