Debra Anne Kellogg of Toshiba America Business Solutions has been awarded the Bronze Stevie Award in the Culture Transformation Leader of the Year category. The recognition comes as part of the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, which highlights efforts in workplace development and HR leadership.
Kellogg led a company wide effort to revamp Toshiba’s internal culture training. Her work resulted in the Be the Difference program, designed to align nearly 1,950 employees across the U.S. with Toshiba’s stated values, such as collaboration and innovation. The initiative includes a rewards system for employees who reflect these values in their day-to-day work.
Her approach relied on in-house collaboration rather than outside consultants and was based on feedback from company leadership. Judges noted the grounded and consistent effort behind the program, describing it as a people-focused process developed through long-term familiarity with the organization’s structure and needs.
The Stevie Awards were judged by more than 100 professionals globally, with additional input from public voting. Kellogg’s contribution reflects a broader trend of companies investing in structured approaches to internal culture-building.
