University of South Florida, Tampa General Hospital and GE HealthCare have expanded their collaboration with the installation of the Allia Moveo image guided therapy system.

The system has been deployed at the Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation, making it the first installation in Florida and the third globally. It is also the first time the platform will be integrated into a simulation center for clinical training.

Allia Moveo features a compact cable free C arm, wide bore cone beam CT imaging and AI powered workflow tools. It is designed to support minimally invasive and endovascular procedures while improving workflow efficiency and image quality.

The installation aims to strengthen surgical training by allowing clinicians to practice on hybrid operating room technology in a controlled environment. A second system is planned for clinical use at Tampa General Hospital later in 2026.

The initiative supports the Tampa Medical and Research District’s focus on advancing healthcare innovation, education and patient outcomes.
