vivo has launched its new foldable phone, the X Fold5, in India. It comes with a 6000mAh battery, which is the largest in any foldable phone in the country. The phone supports 80W wired and 40W wireless charging.

It features two AMOLED displays, a large 8.03-inch main screen and a 6.53-inch cover screen. Both offer high brightness (up to 4500 nits), smooth 120Hz refresh rate and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

The X Fold5 includes a triple 50MP camera setup, developed with ZEISS. This includes a main camera, an ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens with 3x optical and 100x digital zoom. The camera system is built to capture clear photos even in low light.

The phone weighs 217g and folds down to just 0.43cm thick. It uses an aerospace-grade hinge and comes with protection ratings for water, dust and temperature.

It also includes tools like DocMaster, Gemini Assistant, and Origin Workbench that are meant to help with multitasking and work tasks like reading documents or handling video calls.

The 16GB + 512GB model is priced at ₹1,49,999 and is available in Titanium Gray. It can be bought on Flipkart, Amazon, vivo’s online store and offline shops. Buyers can get EMI options, cashback on select bank cards, a free extended warranty and other bundled offers.

The phone is made at vivo’s factory in Greater Noida where over 8,000 people are involved in the production.
