Xiaomi India is hiring a Senior Category Manager to own the end-to-end GTM strategy and P&L for its AIoT portfolio. The role focuses on driving growth, profitability and ecosystem attach across smart home, lifestyle and connected devices while working closely with sales, marketing and global teams.
What the role involves:
- Owning GTM strategy and P&L for AIoT products including smart home and connected devices
- Defining launch playbooks covering positioning, pricing and channel strategy
- Building business cases for new categories like robot vacuums, smart security and large appliances
- Managing full product lifecycle from launch to end-of-life
- Leading consumer and market insights to identify needs, barriers and attach opportunities
- Tracking competition and converting insights into counter strategies
- Working with online and offline channels on sell-in, sell-out, assortment and pricing ladders
- Monitoring sales performance, inventory and demand supply gaps
- Driving integrated marketing campaigns and smartphone x AIoT attach programs
- Partnering with product, supply chain, finance, legal and service teams for smooth execution
- Managing and mentoring a small category and GTM team
Key success metrics:
- Revenue and margin delivery for the AIoT category
- Market share growth in priority sub-categories
- Smartphone to AIoT attach rate and ecosystem penetration
- On-time launches and sell-through performance
- Category NPS and brand health
Ideal profile:
- 7 to 12 years of experience in product, GTM, category or sales planning roles
- Strong background in consumer electronics or mobile ecosystems
- Expertise in pricing, margin management and inventory planning
- Proven ability to deliver growth and bottom-line results
- Strong analytical skills and experience leading cross-functional launches
