Role Focuses on Transmission Infrastructure and Grid Expansion
Vamsi Rama Mohan Burra has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.
In this role, he will lead the company’s strategic direction, focusing on expanding transmission infrastructure and strengthening India’s power grid network.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Director (Projects) at Power Grid, where he was involved in executing large-scale transmission projects. He also served as Chief Executive Officer at Powertel, contributing to telecom and digital infrastructure initiatives.
