At NRF Europe in Paris, Lenovo and NVIDIA showcased how AI in retail is moving beyond pilot projects to real-world deployment. The focus was on Agentic AI a system where intelligent agents can perceive, plan, act, and learn. These agents work across different workflows to automate tasks, improve customer service, and support operational efficiency.

Lenovo presented its agent management platform, powered by NVIDIA, which allows even non-technical staff to build and deploy AI agents using drag-and-drop tools. Retailers can use these capabilities for automating inventory checks, enhancing service, and managing tasks at scale. This approach helps free employees from repetitive work and supports faster innovation.

NVIDIA also demonstrated its Retail Shopping Assistant, designed to handle complex customer interactions across text and images with built-in safeguards. Along with partners such as SoftServe, Grid Dynamics, and Everseen, Lenovo highlighted how an ecosystem of solutions can improve areas like supply chain, store video intelligence and loss prevention.
