Amit Kumar has been appointed Managing Director, Digital Natives at Google Cloud. He brings more than 20 years of experience in cloud transformation, enterprise technology and customer engagement. In his previous role as Sales Director for Google Cloud India, he helped accelerate the use of cloud, data and Generative AI solutions for startups and digital-native businesses. He has strong experience in building teams, driving customer success and leading complex go-to-market strategies, which will support Google Cloud’s work with digital-first companies in India.
Before this role, Amit held senior positions at Apple, IBM and Microsoft. At Apple he served as Country Sales Manager for Enterprise and Education. At IBM he led the Software and Cloud business across India and South Asia. During his 13 years at Microsoft he worked across SMB, partner ecosystems, corporate accounts and enterprise solution sales. He began his career at Tata Telecom, gaining early experience in marketing and technology-driven transformation. Amit now brings this broad experience to strengthen Google Cloud’s role among India’s digital-native customers.
