Anthropic has appointed Irina Ghose as Managing Director of India as it prepares to open its first office in Bengaluru. In this role she will lead the company’s India operations and support growth as Anthropic expands its presence in the country.
She brings more than three decades of experience in building and scaling technology businesses. Before joining Anthropic she served as Managing Director at Microsoft India. There she led enterprise AI adoption across sectors such as banking and financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and government. She has led large teams, built strong ecosystem partnerships and supported the development of future ready technology capabilities. Her experience aligns with Anthropic’s plans to grow responsibly in the Indian market.
