LG Electronics revived its regional innovation platform with InnoFest 2026 MEA in Abu Dhabi after a seven year pause. The event gathered over 250 partners and media under the theme Innovation, Forward Together, highlighting a renewed focus on the Middle East and Africa region.
The strategy combines premium appliance leadership with expanded mid entry offerings tailored to local preferences. Products such as top freezer refrigerators and twin tub washing machines reflect strong regional demand, supported by the “Our Promise” initiative to strengthen local sales and service capabilities.
In fabric care, LG showcased AI powered solutions including AI Wash and AI Dry across models such as LG SIGNATURE WashCombo and LG WashTower. The new 27 inch WashCombo offers 25 kilogram washing and 21 kilogram drying capacity with DUAL Inverter HeatPump technology and AI Direct Drive motors.
Kitchen innovations included the LG InstaView refrigerator with AI Fresh, SolarDOM oven with 60 auto cook menus and AI enabled dishwashers with QuadWash Pro and AI SenseClean.
The event also featured LG AI Home powered by LG ThinQ and ThinQ ON, demonstrating a connected Zero Labor Home ecosystem.
