ASUS IoT and CTHINGS.CO have formed a partnership to support organizations seeking to manage connected assets and gain operational insights through edge AI and IoT technologies. The collaboration combines ASUS IoT’s industrial gateways with CTHINGS.CO’s Orchestra platform, which provides device deployment, configuration, connectivity, and centralized management. The approach is intended to help enterprises adopt edge computing more efficiently and maintain secure links between devices and cloud environments.
CTHINGS.CO brings experience in industrial integration, edge ML/AI computing, analytics, digital twins, and remote actuation. Its platform aims to unify operations, enhance visibility across physical systems, and support data-driven decision-making. Through this partnership, ASUS IoT hardware is used in projects such as an intelligent reverse-vending machine solution that includes real-time monitoring, analytics, and verification capabilities. The integration facilitates communication, object recognition, and operational oversight related to return volumes, bin capacity, and compliance.
The companies are also developing IoT-enabled smart poles equipped with lighting, surveillance, sensors, PA systems, and EV charging. By using ASUS gateways with the Orchestra platform, municipalities and private operators can manage these systems remotely. Additional ASUS IoT devices, including Jetson-based edge computers and Tinker Board products, are being evaluated. Both organizations are working on smart city initiatives focused on transportation, public security, and environmental monitoring.
