ASUS has been listed among Clarivate’s Top 100 Global Innovators 2026. Announced on January 21, 2026, the recognition highlights ASUS focus on innovation, technology development and intellectual property strength.
Clarivate selected ASUS based on the scale and quality of its patent portfolio, market impact and long term commitment to protecting intellectual property. In 2025, ASUS was awarded 342 patents globally across multiple technology areas. These included 139 patents in Taiwan and 203 patents across Asia, Europe, North America and Brazil.
ASUS continues to expand beyond hardware focused patents into areas such as 5G standard essential patents, AI technologies and advanced communications. As of 2025, the company has declared a total of 416 standard essential patent families with the European Telecommunications Standards Institute. By the third quarter of 2025, ASUS had accumulated 9,761 patents worldwide since its founding.
