It operates in extreme conditions, providing heating in temperatures as low as -22°F and cooling up to 122°F. The system features SEER2 ratings up to 29.7, HSPF2 up to 12.2 and supports long piping runs up to 984 feet.

To assist professionals Carrier has also introduced VPro, a web-based tool for system sizing and project quoting. Opti-V units come with a 10-year limited parts and compressor warranty when registered on time.
