Carrier has launched Opti-V, a variable refrigerant flow heat pump designed for residential and light commercial use. Available under both Carrier and Toshiba Carrier brands, the system aims to provide high efficiency, flexible zoning and quiet operation.

Opti-V can connect up to nine indoor units to one outdoor unit, allowing precise temperature control and energy savings. It operates in extreme conditions, providing heating in temperatures as low as -22°F and cooling up to 122°F. The system features SEER2 ratings up to 29.7, HSPF2 up to 12.2 and supports long piping runs up to 984 feet.

To assist professionals Carrier has also introduced VPro, a web-based tool for system sizing and project quoting. Opti-V units come with a 10-year limited parts and compressor warranty when registered on time.
