Carrier Japan recently hosted a group of 19 elementary school students and their families at its Tsuyama factory. The event was part of a local program called Tsuyama Area Open Factory 2025. This was the fifth time Carrier Japan participated in the annual event.
The purpose of the tour was to show students the company’s operations and to inspire them to consider future careers in manufacturing. The students learned about the factory’s advanced HVAC products and solutions. The tour included a look at the production lines and a special visit to the air conditioning testing room. The event happened just after the 123rd anniversary of the invention of modern air conditioning.
“Our Tsuyama factory is a cornerstone of our domestic manufacturing network,” said Toru Kubo, President of Carrier Japan. “We continue to strengthen our proud roots in the local community while pursuing technological innovations to help shape a smarter, more sustainable future for all.”
